How do you kill that dummy none of my spells work and none of the spells in the chest work ether what should i do??

That dummy? That dummy is indestructable. You have to destroy the statue.

IIRC the guy mentiones that you must destroy the statue if you read the text carefully enough!

Instead of wasting the scroll spells or level 1 spells, use level 0 offensive spells to destroy the statue.
I think that is a good way to save the scrolls for later use...
