Well ive been gone on vacation a month or two, and I'm back. I'm starting a solo game for BG1 (forever classic) and I am willing to take any advice you have to offer. (Except spoilers)

Welcome back!

Keep in mind that humans can dual and non-humans can multi-class if you want to solo.

Well here is my advice... try human ranger immediately dualed up to cleric at level2 you get:

Cleric with the ability to:
_Cast all druid spells.
_Have two points in 2 weapon proficiencies
_Have a strength of 18/## (not to mention that rangers get higher stats overall... it doesnt take long to roll a total of 90+)

I thought Paladins get the highest (likely) stat roll

I suppose they do... but rangers is also high, higher than clerics... and paladins need to distribute the points over a wider range (they need everything but intelligence)
