Asheera's amulet?

What's the point of this thing? I can't use until level 26, but it's impossible to get to level 26... did Asheera just give it to me to irritate me? Or can I maybe take it to someone who might do something to let me use it or something? [img]graemlins/confused3.gif[/img]

You know, that's weird, because I never used that amulet - stashed it in the bag as soon as I got it - but when I check it out in the Toolset, it actually requires lvl 20, and not 26. I checked in the game too, my lvl 20 fighter, who has finished the game (twice, heh) can use it. Funny is that you are the second person saying that (one was my friend), so I don't know whether it's bugged item desc, bugged item or some data is messed up in some games. Maybe it is somehow messed in non-US games? I can't check it, as I ordered my copy from US, and the frien is from France (I forgot to ask her what version is her game). Maybe you can just load it up in Toolset too and see, what's shown there?

I think it has something to do with your level/class/and/or/attributes. When I came across the amulet, it stated that you had to be level 19. I was level 16 the first time I came across it. Later on, I found it again (redid chap) and was able to use it with 19th level. It helps pretty good if you can use it. My character is a tri-class though. I have Ranger-Sorceror-Thief. Maybe 1 of those classes makes it where I can use it at lower level. Not sure.

Oh yeah, there is another possibility too. Depends on whatever setup you have for your game too. On some servers that I connect to, they have item level restrictions, on others they don't. I believe one of these options may affect item level. I have a book of Satanic Verses (Harm spell x3/day) and it is level 18 elsewhere, but on server with item level restrictions, it is 25.

it will work at lvl 20 but i think you may need the latest patch from bioware........just click the update from your menu
