1. Is it just me or does the Alt-Tab not work in NWNs? I always like to take a break now and then, Alt-Tab leaving the game still up, and check in here. Now it seems I have to totally quit out Anyone know of another way to minimize that I might be able to try?

2. NPCs. Wondering if you are able to equip them with weapons, armor etc.? I know you can give them potions, but not sure if the buck stops there.

you can only give them potions and the item for their quest whne a you fidn it and b they have talked about the quest.

to give them a potion you open up your inventory click and drag the item to them. Beware though they will immediatly drink it. So if you are giving healing potions give them one at a time.

Sorry Wendy, but that wasnt really a spoil as you'll see The npc system is a lot different from the BG series.
Ok i knew if i gave it to them from inventory they would drink it but had thought there might be a way they would just carry it> guess not< thats kind of dumb> oh well< its still fun!

I like the new and improved NWN forum.

You can't give a henchman anything but potions...but their equipment supposedly gets upgraded as they increase in level, so it should balance out.

Yeah I can't see a way either to equip an NPC with anything to "hold" nope. How many NPCs can we get anyways? I like the usual group of six, but maybe we only get one?

Hmmm. Well I was hoping for the "six party" scenario, like Baldurs and IWD, PST... But that's OK I guess, I enjoy Diablo II where it is the same way, one main character, with one hireable companion. Let's move on and see how it goes eh?

EDIT: Oh and Pauly, you can right click on your companion and click on "follow" so he doens't run off into another room LOL and fight stuff on his own when you aren't ready.
