Can't find Wizard's Guild

Hi, I'm in the first town Valeia, and after reading the tips sticky, I see that there should be a Wizards guild in this town, but I cannot find it. Someone please help or point me in the right direction. Thank you.

Welcome to the Boards, Javrix. May your enemies taste your frustration in the steel of your blade.

The wizard's guild is on the far left of the town. Looks like a tower...

Now, if you can't enter it, there may be a couple of problems:

1. You may not have any characters in your party! You need at least one...

2. You may be running under Win2k or XP, in which case you need to go to the Technical Answers thread above and do the virtualdub thing. Instructions are in there.

3. I'm not sure what three is anymore, but if the first two don't help, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Welcome to W&W forum Javrix!

As Bungleau said, read Technical Answers thread and also Best Tips! thread.
There you find lot's of information about game and problems that might occure
during your travel in Gaeal Serran.

Hope you find that wizards guild and keep us posted how your game is going!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Actually I've been a member here for a few years I think. I bought W & W when it first came out on my 98 machine, but I never did beat/finish it, and now i have XP and I thought I'd take it up again. Love the game, one of the best games ever made in my opinion.

But yeah, I must of over looked the problem in the tech tips. After close examination of that post I saw the exact problem I had, so I did the videodub and now it works fine. I was kinda flipping out, because I could of sworn on my 98 machine I could exit the right gate and enter the wizards building.

Thanks again for all your help and I will probably be posting more soon.
