Like others before me I am running XP. I cannot access all the buildings in towns and worst of all I can not access either gate in the 2nd town. I have read that I need to download Virtuldub and do the save thing. My problem is that I am not a very computer literate person and I have not figured out how to install the Virtialdub program that I downloaded. I downloaded roughly 8 files from the 1.4.8 Virt file. Which one do I need and How do I use it? I could really use a step by step set of instructions for all this computer lingo is still new to me.

1) Launch Windows Explorer and double-click on the Virtualdub.exe file
2) Click on File|Open Video File and then navigate to your /Wizardswarriors/Townavi folder
3) Load "townmsk1.avi" then click on File|Save old format AVI. Save it to your /Townavi folder with the new name of "town1.avi"
4) Do the same for "townmsk2.avi" and "townmsk3.avi" saving as "town2.avi" and "town3.avi"
5) Click on File|Quit
6) Go back to or relaunch Windows Explorer. Navigate to your /Wizardswarriors/Townavi folder. Right-click on the each of the new files (town1.avi, etc.) and from the pop-up menu choose Rename. Rename the files to their old names (townmsk1.avi, etc.) and say Yes to the question of whether to overwrite the original file

That should do it.

Welcome to the board, Dryd!!!

I hope Xignal has solved your problem. This is a fairly common problem for those running Win2K and XP!

Xignal - I've added the virtualdub tip/fix to the Best Tips thread, whatever is the last page these days!
