Hey all Im just starting the game again lately I tried it out when I first bought it over a year ago but I was having so many problems with getting the 3d acceleration to work that I just loaned it to my dad while I played some other things and only just got around to playing it again. Unfortunately I can't find my manual just yet (its buried somewhere I know it . So my question might seem really newbish but I'd really like to know the fastest way to get an id skill or what not because that seems as it would be highly beneficial to making money faster and since its a tip in the faq I downloaded. I have two priests a wizard two warriors and a rouge all almost lvl 2.
Anyways thanks in advance for help . Amaron |

You don't get the Ancient Lore, then Artifacts skill until you are level 3 in the Priest guild, if memory serves right - you'd have to complete 3 quests to get there and then assign some points/buy a couple of levels... my best advice would be to read some of the tips on money for id'ing, and also giving all 'like' items to one char... eg all swords to one char, all axes to another (depending on how much room you have) and id that way - it will save money too.

Now, the fastest way is to download a character editor and give yourself good artifact level.
The quickest legitimate way is to complete the Warlock quest ASAP, realistically, you could get the Artifact skill within about 20 minutes of play. However, the best way (party and character development wise) is to complete the 2nd or 3rd (memory fails) Priest guild quests. At which point you'll can train for the Ancient Lore trait and then for Artifact. In the interim, just put all the items that are the same in the hands of one character. That way, when you ID a rusty sword, all the rusty swords that character carries will also be ided. Don't waste IDing for less than 2 items (since non-ided Items usually sell for about 1/2 the normal price, it's not worth it to ID for less than two). Good luck on your adventures.
