Welcome to the board, cloud88!!!
W&W is similar in many ways to games like Wizardry and Might & Magic, if you are familiar with them. It is certainly one of the best CRPGs I have played in a long time and had replayability which I generally find totally lacking in other games. There are numerous threads related to this topic - try searching on keywords like "any good" or "worth buying" in the subject line. Also read the Best Tips thread - that should give you some idea of what goes on in this game. For fun, read the Bumble thread and the Giggling So Hard thread wherein players have shared their mistakes. ![]() Wyv |

![]() It has the most in-depth character development of any CRPG I have ever seen ( and I have completed over 70 CRPGS .. ) There a quite a few minor logic bugs that seem to defy logic - in a strange sort of way, they seem to add to the game. Lots of nice spells to play with ... The plot, while a bit stereotyped, is still absorbing as it unfolds. Plenty of quests and puzzles of varying complexity. If you can pick the game up at a reasonable price, go for it !! Pangur Ban |

Hi and welcome to the board Cloud88.
I'll keep it simple. The game is by far my favorite RPG since Daggerfall (released in 1996). |
