I take it that Vedran's reply confused the heck out of you. Well, you haven't met Scar yet. Follow the directions I gave in your original post, and you'll eventually find out about Scar.

Another note: You might want to wait posting here until you've completely exhausted your options. Read ALL the notes people give you or you collect from corpses. Visit ALL the maps. Try and see if you can walk off the edge of each and every map screen to travel to a new area.

If you've done all there is to do about something, you'll either find exactly what to do about that something, more about what to do about that something so you can exactly go about doing it, or you won't find anything at all about that something (which means you should move on to something else).

Take Scar, for instance. If you've read every note and looked on every map possible to go to, you'll either find Scar, find out something about Scar that will lead to his finding, or won't find Scar at all. If you don't find Scar at all, there's a possibility that you'll find something else to be doing, and since you've exhausted all other possibilities, just be secure in the knowledge that if Scar's out there, you'll be thorough enough to find him.

Yet another note, this time to forumgoers: When you give advice, start with the basics. This post was the result of someone giving advice in another thread and assuming that the poster had already done something else first. (When I was new to playing Diablo II, I posted at Blizzard's forum asking where the Blackened Temple was, because one of the Act 3 townspeople mention it, and I mentioned being in the Flayer Jungle. Big honkin' snafu resulted when someone thought I'd been through the Kurast city, when in fact I hadn't.)

Final note: If you're still wondering how to get into Baldur's Gate (and when you finally get to that point, you WILL be wondering), logic points north, but the city points west. And that's all the spoilers this beyond naked mage is giving.

EDIT: Got my directions mixed up. Thanks, dyslexia.

Sorry, Dude, I was in a hurry, it was past midnight when I posted. I hope Pirengle made it clear.

And you say I am confusing?
