Ive gotten into the crypt, past the door at the bottom of the stairs, but cannot open the door on the other side of the room. Please advise.

That door is difficult to open when you are first starting the game. Do you have a rogue in your party?? Continue to explore the rest of the crypt and you should be able to open it by the time your ready to leave again! Good Luck!! Wyv |

Ha, another one falls to the most common error in W & W - Look out for this arrangement from now on Smokinggun - that is how all the entrances to the major crypts, temples, castles, keeps etc are accessed.
