I've got the Mavin sword but for some reason the samuri looking to avenge his father keeps asking me if I know something new but he won't accept his father's ring or respond to anything about his father about finding him in the prison. Also two other quests I'm having trouble with...the assassin Shrew Chishi and the guy for the cleric quest Jathil...I've been unable to locate either one... any ideas?

YOu cannot help Torin. So forget that.
Scanthril you find near the burnt out house (he's a Ratling) Jathil you find all the way to the west side of the shire! Hope that helps! Wyv |

He won't. The ring was specifically to give to Pris'Kiela to get her to open the door. Torin's pretty doggone stubborn. Guess he didn't know about the ring!
Jathil is located south and west of the Dragon Spire, between the haunted graveyard and the place where you find the writ for the Stout Mines. Shrew Chisi is located in a meadow just to the west of where you first enter the Stout Mines. It also adjoins the lake. -Sazerac |

Hmmmm...I killed the ratling but the guy at the assassin guild doesn't seem to think I finished the quest
