Welcome to the board, Ruyyerguy!!

You need to run through the gate which is at the end. Most of the time this is extremely difficult. One trick many players have used is to have their lead character CARRY a chest or crate ahead of them so that the chest/crate holds the gate open long enough for your party to get through.

Hope this will work for you! If not, come back and tell us!

I'm pretty sure I remember that you need to avoid that healing fire in the Warriors' Way; it resets the puzzle.

If you have loaded the game from official game CDs (I'm not casting aspersions, but in another thread, the problems were due to a fake copy), you'll find in the Start menu group that the game made (Activision) under Programs, is a link to the On-line Help File - this is actually a walk through of the crypt level. (Or you could just go browsing thru the CDs.) I found this file invaluable when I was starting out, as some things you have to do, you might not have thought of yourself (like riding on TOP of the lift, but you obviously worked that out!). It gives some hints on these pits, and I just looked - the healing fire DOES reset the puzzle.

Good luck!

This has got to be one of the most difficult places in the game. I remember almost giving up, I tried so many times to get through and couldn't. My daughter called me when she got to this point and said the same thing, "I give up, what am I missing?" But don't give up, just keep trying, you will make it! Just like the rest of us did! And let us know when you do!
