Ihave tried everything I see posted in forum.. CAN"T KILL THE STUPID SNAKE... everytime I get close, run away, rest up, then come back, she hit's me for 1000 points. What's with that?!?!?!?!?! I tried getting more experiences by exploring, but can't get past those stupid amazone mantraps.... I'm experiencing a high level of frustaration and irritation with this game.

Welcome to the board, Melsa!

Personally I don't think retreating to heal while in battle with the Naga is a good strategy. That obviously is giving the advantage to the Naga.
Did you get the potion from Kerielle for returning the amulet to her? The potion freezes the Naga though not for long.
What are your characters classes? If you have priests, they should probably only be set to do healing while in battle with the Naga while the others give her everything you've got.

If none of that is helpful, you can still gain more experience by continuing to explore the EAST side of Ishad N'ha (you're not ready for those Mantraps yet). Set your spawn meter (in the computer options screen) to high so you have more encounters. You might also want to set your difficult to "easy" before you tackle the Naga again.

Hope something here will prove of help! Good Luck!

Another thing that I noticed on both plays - Xydusa has a tendancy to attack the last person that hit her just before it is her turn. If someone is badly beat up, and Xydusa hasn't attacked for a while, it is suicide to let that character take a swing at her. Let your most super duper protected dude take most of the swings, even if it means passing up some opportunities to do damage with weaker characters.

Thanks Guys I continued to retreat to heal, and bloodlusted my characters for more damage impact. Took a while, and I have 1 character remaining, but the STUPID SNAKE is dead. Now all i have to do is figure out how to get out of his place.

well YIKES -

You still have a long way to go before you can get out and another major battle ahead!

Any chance that you might want to reload and fight it all over again to see if you can get better results?? (or did you save over the save game slot?)

I still have a good save before the snake. sounds like I'm gonna have to have a strong party to go on. I'll have to fight her again. I may go out and fight a few more battles around the countryside.
