ok when i did it with a party of 6 i had no trouble faily easy accually but my friend did it and after dopple gangers are all killed he gets killed by a flame strike not even 125% fire restance saves him once he died for no apaerent reason didn"t get hit by abything after talking with him abit i found out that the dopplegangers killed the guy that introduced Saervok (can't rember his name) then i rember he his the guy you present your evedince to so does he have to live for you to servive the quest ????

theres a few magic users about i think in that fight sometimes they spawn behind the door so you dont see them, might not have been sarevok himself, i sometimes miss a few, they get trapped behind things, that whole fight is a mess [img]tongue.gif[/img]

A little aside the subject.. Could someone remind me whether you can do any damage to Koveras? Most probably not, but I thought to ask. And what was the reason why he came talk to you in the first place?

At the fight during the Corination, the guy who is in charge (Belt?) has to survive for the plot to continue. The is no need to fight with Sarevok, just keep the Dopplegangers away from the good guys. If the search function is back on, there have been posts on this subject before.

To win the fight in the Duchal Palace, at least ONE of the remaining Grand Dukes must survive, not including Sarevok. So if either Belt or Liia Jannath lives through the squabble, you can present your evidence against Sarevok. If not, Winski Perorate Dimension Doors in, and instead of teleporting Sarevok away, he hits you with a special Flamestrike that causes automatic death, regardless of Magic Resistance or Fire Resistance.

I don't really know if Koveras can be harmed or not--certainly not enough to kill him before he leaves. And he can't be turned hostile, either. The reason he came to talk to you is to sic you on to Rieltar and his boys on the third floor, to encourage you to go kill them. Koveras won't have to trouble himself to frame you for their deaths if you're actually guilty.
