Just a thought as I was just playing, as night fell hard on the land.

- as "heavenly shades of night is falling, it's twilight time" - I'm exploring the lost sea. Night is falling, falling, fell, and it's getting pretty cool now. Mean lions, and tigers, and bears are trying get me. My fellowship is confident, though relatively weak, but eager to explore. Fireflies are flickering, shrubs and trees are rustling, weird sound are heard from nearby. It's dark, but a lonely torch is held high to guide my path. What strange wonders will the next turn reveal? Will we meet the challange?

This is directed at previous questions about "rest periods" or "sleep sessions" or "how do I hide at night" in this game. Why would anyone want to sleep at an Inn, or camp out, or hide, to avoid the night? Twilight and midnight in Gael Serran should be sought, and not avoided.

Anyway, just my thought of the moment, back to the game. Great game and great forum!

Thanks for sharing that, treehut!!!

Typically whenever I play a game that has periods of day and night, I always try to find ways to avoid sleeping. I know that most of the games that allow you to rest will make this time pass quickly, but I'd rather just not do it! Really should be an option one chooses!

"Out of the mist, your voice is calling, its twilight time. Each day I prayer for evening, just to be you. Together at last at twilight time."

I love the night in the Gael Serran... One thing for sure, that moon really moves when you turn

The first time I played the game, I got the Mavin right before dawn...as I emerged, holding the sword aloft, the first rays of the Sun were coming up over the Shire, the sky a pale gold color. I took it as an omen that a New Age of peace and enlightenment was dawning over the Gael Serran, and that my character was instrumental in bringing it in with the help of the Mavin...

...only to be jumped about 10 seconds later by a bunch of rude, oafish, loutish Highland Raiders with their "Drop yer weapons! This one thinks they're a HE-RO!" (Right, and I'm carrying the Mavin, what did you expect?) Sort of blew the whole illusion, know what I mean?

Well, it was great while it lasted.

Peace,
Sazerac

And, here, for me, is the kicker. It's now daylight after a short time, and like you guys know, the sunrise is georgeous. a scary night but the twilights and dawns are spectacular.
