I have downloaded the EXP cap remover for BG1 & TOTSC and was wondering if anyone knew how far can I go with levels. What I mean to say is; Are there enough EXP Points in both these games to hit Level 20? I Beat Durlags Tower last night and Even with the 15,000 xps from the Demon Knight I have a long way to the 250,000 mark. I'm killing every enemy I can find. Any info would help. Is Cheating the only way? I hate to think so

In Bg2 you can get that many XP very quickly, but in Bg1 its hard to get to the TotSC cap. Playing a solo character you should be able to get higher quickly enough, but with a full party you'r in for a long wait.

once you cleaned the game completely all quests but sarevok himself (backtrack through thieves maze after getting all the exp from outside the manse) then you should be just shy of 250,000 the next step for exp above (lvl 20 you'd have to be really sad to get there would take forever) but to hit the next two this will still take ages you go to cloakwood forest wyvern place and continaully move between it and other maps activating the wyvern/ettercap random event that gives about 5000-6000 exp a time i think split 6 ways your look at roughly 1k for each member, so 250 times and you got another level, so its possible but boy will it take a while and be boring as hell, and frankly not even worth it, cos you can spank sarevok at lvl 5-6 , im level 9-10 atm just for the helluvit but what i did is import my level 8 from the old game into a new game so if you want to play through the entire game and keep importing (when you pick up chars they are automatically level 5-6 each time and that way you can hit higher levels with your main character, mine is now level 10 i think with 5 in large swords and ac -12 plus i kept loads of good eq when i exported him and given it out to all my group so duplicating items like cloak of balduran, boots of speed etc my party zipped through to cloakwood mines within 17 days gametime and have had time to visit ulgoths beard completing first quest there and explore about 12 areas so far

Thanks for all the info. I just restarted playing the saga as a Fighter/Cleric character. I want to take Him all the way through to Throne of Baal. Thus the stronger the better. The Time factor here is crucial thus I won't be hanging out teying to top out in Cloakwood. I'll just plug on and install BGII soon. Thanks again..
