Can't find my way back to the port

Well, i have the mavin but had some things to finish in ishad n'ha. Now i'm trying to go back to brunlock but can't find the way back.
Do i have to go thru dragon's spire again?

Yes . . . there is a way to use teleport and create portal to avoid this I think you create the portal on the ledge after the dragon. Then you can cast teleport before entering dragon spire.

I found it easiest to go all the way to the gates of Brimloch Roon, and create a portal there, but I don't enter yet. That way I can use Call of Home to return to Ishad N'Ha and get rewarded for the last quests (like the Colanth eye and killing Brahman and Grue Morde). After Ishad I can go directly to the Brimloch gates with a teleport.
Without high level moon spells it's a lot more work: you can jump off the cliff after Dragonspire to go back to Ishad, but you'll have to all through Dragonspire again to reach Brimloch.

None in my party has teleport or create portal.
That means i have to go thru dragonspire again then?
I am at level 5 in the moon spells.

I did not find the colanth eye, where is it? And i killed Braham without having a quest requiring it.

Yes, you need the teleport spells (create portal and teleport, and preferably Call of Home as well) to prevent going through Dragonspire. But doing that you might earn enough Xp to get to 6th level moon, and get those spells quickly. And you haven't yet done the Colanth you say.
When you have the quest (3rd wizard guild quest) the Colanth will appear in the deep pool with the passage to the earth spirit.
Killing the Bandit King is the third quest for the town hall. I guess you'll not get that quest now, but then again the rewards are negligable. (If you haven't been back after disabling the bronze dragon it's logical you didn't get that 3rd quest.)

I made it thru dragonspire again. By the way, I thought the letter i gave to the dwarf (can't remember his name) would not give me anything (i went back to talk to ezrebette??? and nothing happened). Well now he tells me he received the letter and gives me a wand (not a great gift - weakening spell).

Did you finish the second one, about the idol of Aku?
And it is correct that most NPCs outside the city don't react in different ways to you after you've done what they ask. This is especially true with Torin, who keeps asking about his father Grunaxe, and even when you've met Grunaxe there is no way to tell him! (You did do the boogre caves, didn't you?)

Yes, I did the idol of Aku quest, but it's strange, i didn't get another quest, i think (if i remember well) the guy at the wizard guild told me there was nothing else to do and the same goes for townhall. I did go back once i turned off the bronze dragon.

Yes, I agree with you, Torin is definitely the worst, i've tried to give him grunaxe's ring but he won't take it but he did take his armour though.... can't get it back of course.

I've been twice thru the boogres cave, the second time was to get giant strike for two of my guys (really love to see them use it in battle). Of course i was giving my brews to the wrong statue. Had to go thru the gauntlet again.

I am at brunlock roon now and i won't go back to ishad n'ha until one in my party gets create portal. It's too much of a nuisance otherwise.
