After one visit into a town and going to the mage shop, if I leave town and come back, the mage shop is selling items from the armory and not the mage shop itself.

No one knows? I honestly hope this isn't unique to me.

I am not true veteran of this forum but I have been here since December and this is the first I have ever heard of this happening to anyone.
If you want to see if it was just due to a bad install, you can copy your Savegame folder away from the W&W folder and then uninstall the game...delete any remaining folders (within the original) and re-install. Start a new game before copying your old savegame folder back into your new install to see if it doesn't happen again...if it doesn't but then does when you copy your old Savegame folder and open a game you have saved now, then those files are corrupt and (wince) you would have to start over. : ( Hope you get the fix you need to keep playing! : ) Moni |

Also, it seems to do this for other shops as well, such as the Bushi Dojo and the pawn shop. However, it doesn't seem to carry over into the guild item screen. Anyone know why or how to fix it?

Well, tried it. Started anew with a few randomly made guys, and shops worked fine. I entered in my old saved games, brought the character in them into town and the problem cropped up again. I guess they must be corrupt, so I'll have to reinstall and start over.

oo How disappointing!! Hope this will work for you!
Have never seen anyone report this particular problem before - there is always something new in this game - sometimes we wish there wasn't. Wyv |

Well, it seemed ok after a fresh reinstall and new characters, but a little while later into it, it's started doing it again. Although it isn't too horribly bothersome, it gets slightly annoying, considering I can't buy things like potions from the mage shop. Are there generally any other good items worth buying in the mage shop/bushi dojo etc. That's not referring to the guild section of the store.

Actually, in the four times I've played, I never once bought anything from the shops. (Well except for one thing I sold there first, and wanted to get back.) You're better of spending your (sparce) money on training skills and traits.
