ive just gotten to nashkel and was wondering who i should have in my party, i have me a fighter,imoen, jaheira, khalid and Ajantis. Im planning on getting Minsc in my party but then i have to make room for his friend who should i keep and lose. And who should i make room for in the future, remember im planning a good/neutral aligned party.

It is all up to you, lots of choices! Personally I would dump both jaheira, khalid, and pick up Kiven, and then you will have room for one more even with Minsc and his friend.

I went through with the good ol' classic party
Dwarven Fighter (Voimli, kindly nicknamed by my friends as Vomit  )Khalid Minsc Jaheira Imoen (dual at lvl 4 to mage) Dynaheir Worked great for me. Another good one for me was Elf-Fighter Mage (Ellywyrdyryr )Minsc Jaheira Imoen (dual at lvl 4 to mage) Branwen Ajantis

I think it depends on how much of a magic user you are.
My party right now, Me- illusionist Imoen Jaheira Kahlid Branwen plus i think i'll pick up kivan when i meet him.
