This is a tactic that works in the BG series. I want to know if you can sell an item low on charges in this game and buy it back fully recharged.

I know it works in IWD/HoW. I'd speculate that it also works in IWD2. By the time I've exhausted the charges in an item, I've usually found a better one, so I don't generally bother.
