Midget Gems Jnr. had an old party (a duo actually) that where left in Dragons Eye, so he thought he would go back and try and continue. After clearing Levels 1 and 2, he can't find the prisoners. The people on Level 1 are still there but Level 2 is empty - not a sole to be seen. A quick trip back to Kulderhar gave no sign of them there (eg the Blacksmith was still looking for his son). A look in the Journal revealed no dialog with the boy either. How come he lost them? I know it's not that important for continuing the game but this has got me puzzeled.

I believe it is a bug that occurs once in awhile although it has never happened to me. If you do a search on older threads you may find something.

Do you have HoW?
I had this problem as well until I installed HoW, the patch with it fixes this. Or you can just download the patch from the net.

Yes the HoW patch that comes with HoW does fix alot of problems in icewind dale

Thanks guys,
I don't have HOW, I bought Icewind Dale on it's own and have never seen HOW for sale seperately. I have actually got patch 1.06 installed on my computer already but it hasn't stopped this happening. Oh well I'll just play on without the minor experience points. Thanks Midget Gems Jnr
