I know the topic have been brought up several times. But i couldnt get a straight answer. At what level should a paladin multi class? I managed to read the other posts and did a pally, figther combo thingy were my pally was lvl 11 and my figther was lvl 5. Was that a good idea or should i wait for a lvl 20 pally then only go into figther mode? I read some where that when you do a combo , like what i did, you tend to get figther bonuses and extra skill points.
Some suggestions would be helpful, its so hard to play pally's and my AC is terrible at 23. I will tell you what i am wearing in a minute, i have to check. |

here's what I do, paladin 2 fighter 1. ie, every 2 level of paladin, I'll give him 1 level in fighter.

so a lvl 18 paladin 12 fighter is good? why not just 4 lvls of fighter, for spec and the rest in paladin? or just 1 lvl of paladin and rest of fighter, just for that special thing you know

So you see, there's the discussion again of just having a bit lvl's in figther to enjoy the benefits and then all the other lvl's in Paladin. Is it worth it having just a bit of lvl's in figther and continue on in paladin or just have a 11 lvl in paladin and 10 lvl in figther, which probably would make the character 21 lvl's all together?
This may be a stupid question but the lvl cap for each character is at lvl 30 so if the character has 20 in paladin lvl's and 20 in figther lvl's would that make the figther in total a lvl 40 which is more than the cap? Or they just count per character lvl? |

the level cap is 30. so your character level cannot be more than 30.
put it into simple meaning, the total level of your character is equal to all his classes level added up together and it must not be more than 30. paladin 20 figther 20 = when you add them up = 40. since cap is 30 this is wrong. paladin 20 fighter 10 = when add up = 30. this is correct. maybe I should explain in malay? ![]() |

Just to add to what Kakero said, the adjustment drows and other races have is just to make them level slower. The level adjustment does not count in the 30 levels limit. Meaning that a level 30 drow has a character level of 32.
