back in candlekeep

i need some help finding the stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the library, now that i'm back in candlekeep. i have been there at least a half a dozen times and (i thought) checked every wall carefully but no luck. i tried perhaps another entrance but no luck.
i also had trouble in the city of baldur's gate where a lot of the town could not be accessed because the wall or something was blocking it. is it supposed to be that way? what about yago and voltine, can't seem to find them? answer 1 or all 3 of these questions. thanks,

I think that the place in Baldur You can't go is cut in the middle by a wall and is at the East or North East (sorry for my English).
You can access it by the sewers or you can also go where there's a door in the middle of the city, go to the area just above the place you can't go and then go down.
As for Yago, he is in the boat just at the South of Baldur.
I don't remember where is Voltine...

The stairs in the library are directly on top of each other.

Clicking on the upper part of the stairwell leads up, clicking on the lower part of the stairwell leads down.
