If I multi-class my cleric for only 1 level of fighter I gain flail proficiency for free plus I gain 1 feat. I'm undecided too about aasmir cleric and human cleric.

I'M thinking about these feats

combat casting
weapon focus (flail+mace)
weapon proficiency (flail)
improved critical (flail+mace)
lightning reflex (my con and wis are good but my reflex is poor)

as I know max level for 6 person party is 15-18. so, I can select 5 (6 if human cleric, 7 if human cleric+1 fighter level plus free flail proficiency)

It's an option. It may depend on how you want to role play your cleric. Do you see your cleric as a melee fighter or not. I roleplay my cleric as a sniper-medic. Her weapons are a crossbow and a mace. I only have her switch to the mace & shield when it's really necessary. In my situation, I don't think that taking a level of fighter would really help since I was happy with her weapons skills and I wanted the best possible spells.

yeah you're right which feats you advise for cleric? combat casting sounds fine but about spell penetration clerics dont have many offensive spells like mages

I am not going to multi-class my Cleric. Her job is to fire missles at the bad guys and heal the tanks when they are hurting.

The first feat that I took for my Cleric was Subvocal Casting. This way, even if she is silenced, she can still heal the front line.

There's a bunch of undead in the future, and extra turning can come in handy.
If you have high concentration, you don't need Combat Casting.

Improved critical is always good. So is Dirty Fighting

An add to a weak saving throw is worthwhile.

Personally, I wouldn't waste a feat on weapon focus for a multiclassed cleric. However, I do think your idea of giving your cleric 1 level of fighter would increase their melee ability quite a bit.

hmmmmm it seems many people likes subvocal casting. it means this spell is being casted by enemies often. I'll think about it.

well it depends on u cleric and the stats he has

combat casting
i don't think it's useful
i've maxed concentration (where else i should spent the skill points ?)

about reflexes
note sure if the do anything good
as me u would put a hard piece of armor on u cleric - so s(he) will miss nearly every reflex throw (armor penalty)

just my two cents ...

btw havn't found a good flail until now

By the time you get by the end of the game, your pure class cleric will have all the feats he really need. I think a fighter level is a waste. I would hate finishing the game with a level 29 cleric/1 fighter. I hate odds numbers.
