Ok, did anyone else notice that in IWD (something which is not present in other games like BG and NWN). There are a lot (really a lot, in almost every dialogue) dialogue lines that go something like:
"{Insert text here}. Farewell." Did anyone else find some of them quite funny? I especially liked the one which goes something like: _Yuxomenei called us here. _Yes I think I hear her calling too. Farewell. If not, post what humour did you find and like in Icewind Dale. Dialogue-ish or otherwise. Just trying to liven this up after the complaints of this forum being dead... I think the dialogues in Easthaven can be quite funny, like the one where you take a bard to learn from a siren, then shake her down for pearls, or the drunkard question, or the one about height with halflings/gnomes.
Granted, it doesn't hold a candle to the humor in BG 1 and 2, or even MW, but it's a great game otherwise. -Raffin |
