Hey all, I beat IWD a while ago, and theres one item I never found but would have liked to, and thats the Mithrel Armor. I saw on a web site that its hidden in a forge, but I checked all over that location, over a couple chapters and never found it.Can someone give me a spoiler on how to find this item, thanks. You must understand one thing and that is that treasure in IWD is random for some parts. If you play the game more times you might get a different piece of treasure from a location as opposed to the one you found in an earlier game. That forge is probably the one in Dorn's deep where the dwarven ghost is. If you didn't find the armor in it, it's probably one of those random treasure chaches.

If you're referring to the Elven Chain mail +3, it is indeed a random item that appears in two locations in the severed hand. SPoiler:
. . . . . . . . . . . . . Kaylessa in one of the severed hand towers has one set. THe other is located in the Correlon tower.

Well Mithril is indeed made by the Elves, so I think Micah is correct.

Actually, I believe he is referring to the Dwarven made Mithral Full Plate + 2. If I recall correctly, it is possible to get 2 suits in the same game..
SPOILER <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> 1 From the ground behind the wyvern"ish" creatures in the frost giant cave (its in the bones somewhere -> might be radom loot) The other you ALWAYS get, and its located in dorns deep -> In the forge room where you fight a couple drow crossbowmen and a mage or two (and maybe even a swordsman or two!). Its sitting right on the ground in between the two furnaces I believe, along with the +3 axe that is +5 against cadaverous undead. (Axe of Caged Souls) [ 02-03-2002: Message edited by: Therro ] |
