i'm prepared to export my character from bg1, but i'm torn as to what to take with me. i want to take my ankheg armor x2, full plate x2, the ring of wizardry, the amulet of metaspell influence, a nymphs cloak, the cloak of protection +2, the ring of protection +2, the helm of glory, the helm of baldurant, the cloak of baldurant, the helmet of defense, spider's bane, long sword +2:Varscona, short sword +2:the whistling sword, the backstab shortsword, the halbred +2, warhammer +2, boots of speed, boots of avoidance, boots of stealth x2, the golden girdle, the girdle of peircing, the girdle of bluntness, the ring of fire protection, the cloak of non-detection, shadow armor, compostie long bow +1, the bow of marksmenship, the eagle bow, the bracers of dexterity, the bracers of archery, the gauntlets of ogre power, and the throwing axe +2. there's probably more that i'm forgetting, but at the moment, i'm a little flustered at figureing out how to get all this stuff from bg1 to bg2.
help??

Ok first save your game then copy it into bg11 saved games file then start a multiplayer game import your pc's i think they then have the equipment if nto do oal lof the above but first start the multiplayer with a new pc then once the game starts modify the party by importing the new pc's you want from you saved game. I think on fo the two work. I did it by accident once and wound up with my party fully equiped which i was not into so i delated and started again [img]smile.gif[/img]

Other spoiler: (not to undo Lanthir, but there's something easier):
When you first import your character into BG2, as soon as the game starts, hit PAUSE before you get to the first cutscene and then enter the player's inventory. Drop ALL of your items on the ground. Then let the cutscene play. After the initial autosave, grab up all your stuff again and re-equip.
