In my replay attempt of the game, I'm currently "knocking at her door" to retrieve the Heartstone from Yxonomei, and now I'm curious what kind of tactics people use around here to defeat her...

Its a while since I played it, but I remember that she has high level magic resistance and is accompanied by some elite yuan-ti and some priests.
I used a hasted fighter to enter the room and lure them out into the corridor, where my mages used fireballs to clear up the allies from a distance and then everyone piled in and hacked her to bits. Had to be careful about the traps in her room though.

Hmm, funny, she casted a poison cloud and the only ones suffering from it where her own troups. Very amusing.
