Weapon Wielding

Can anyone equip 2 weapons at the same time and attack at the same time with both weapons? i heard a ranger was able to or something like that, if so how do u equip these weapons? do u put it in the quick slot wepons and ur ranger will automatically know to use 2 AT the same time or do u ahve to do something first?

you cant dual-wield in IWD, only in BG2. sorry, i wish you could. IWD is a better game, but BG2 has WAY more variety.combine the two, and THAT would be an AWESOME game.

I rarely play rangers (and never in IWD) but I believe that if you equip a ranger with a sword (maybe even any one handed weapon) that you will get two attacks, as long as you don't use a shield. In IWD you don't really use two seperate weapons (one for each hand), although this was their way of giving the dual weild to Rangers without having to write so much more code for animations. I could be way off though.... although I read that here long ago.

Checked last night - my ranger gets 2 1/2 attacks/round (at lvl 1), due to the odd dual wield rules. Not complainin tho, do get a shield bonus *shrugs*
