hi there I have Khalid Jaheira Imoen Xzar and Montaron in my party and now i'm in beregost. I met kagain he like to join me for a quest. If I kick out xzar and montaron will I lose their quests? I'M also thinking about kicking out jaheira and khalid too. do they have quests too? I'm a fighter I'm thinling about imoen me minsc dynaheir branwen and a archer or fighter

xzar, montaron, jaheira and khalid don't really have any quests separate from that of yours, which is the nashkel mines. xzar and mont will leave or get angry if you don't go there within several days and i think jaheira and khalid will just sarcasticly remind if you if you are not down there within the same time frame.
i would kick out monty, but xzar will leave with him. so send the little runt on a suicide mission and that's that. this is how i would make up my party: -me -imoen or other theifs -branwen, yeslick, or jaheira -edwin, dynaheir, xzar, or xian -sharteel, khalid, minsc, kagain, or ajantis -kivan, coran, or a different archer. the first character i list would be my first choice, but the others would do just fine as well.

May I ask what class you are? ther group you mention is good you might want to pick up Kivan if you want an archer type although Kagain is very good but depending on your alighment you migh thavea bit of a problem with him. I do play with the group you mention but wit hkeeping Jaheria. She makes a decent melee and a back up healer which i like to have. To keep her just suicide Khalid.
