I have folowed all of the proper steps in getting past the trap in the room to the downstairs in chapter four, but the stairs won't show up. What is up with this? Why can't I see the stinking stairs? I have done everything all of the walkthroughs suggest, but they are sitll not there. If you have any tips. Please LMK. Also, if no ideas show up, if someone could send me their savegame from right after this point that would be great. Also, this has not happened once but twice for me.

You know you have to pull the handle in the room with the round table, right? After you disarm the three traps, it tells you that there's a small sound in the room. If you haven't go pull the hammer. If you already have, well, I don't know what to tell you.

I had a similar problem seeing a ladder in the last stage of the game...and there was nothing I could do about it except wait until someone was nice enough to send me their saved game of the room before the final battle...
Even calling and sending the game to Interplay tech support could not get that stupid ladder to show up... |
