Dragons Eye Lvl 3 crash? saved game maybe?

Gee I start a new game and I have no end of problems. Just entered level three of Dragon's Eye....killed the big skeleton puppet guy, a couple of skeletal archers, and some of those cold thingy-ma-bobs...no problem right (haha)? Saved my game. Took a few steps forward and fought a few more cold guys. The second I kill the last one my game freezes. The first time it happened the game just crahsed with one of those error in filename.cpp messages (I'm sorry I didn't write down the filename...wasn't counting on the freezes instead of crashes). I tried reloading the auto-save of right before I went into this room and same thing happened (I do have both patches instlled btw). I don't know if dumping my game cache would do it. I don't know if a save game would do it...for that matter I wouldn't know where to begin importing my characters into a save game from that point.

Help?

Hey at least it didn't just freeze on me this time....I think it might have something to do with the xbow bolts I am using....wierd

I'm having the same problem and I realy don't know what to do. Did you remove all of your xbow bolts ? Since that, are you able to play without bugs?

I don't know if this will help but I've seen no problem even close to this - My party doesn't use a x-bow.
You might try stashing the x-bow and bolts in a chest or barrel somewhere either on the level or elsewhere then retry the problem area. If it occurs again, you'll know the x-bow is not the problem.
Save youself a little hastle and try to waste all but the guy where the game crashes then save it before facing him.
