If a character is "chunked" (killed outright, with no chance of resurrection) in SoA, will his or her spirit be available for calling in ToB?

Actually, they're not available. Korgan and Valygar were both lost in SoA and were unavailable to be called by the Fate Spirit in ToB.

I thought so too. I think they don't have to be chunkified. So long as they died they won't appear.
