banter and talk dissapointments thread *Spoliers*

Well seeing how the forum is less alive than normal I'm starting this thread.

basically post situations where you think that an NPC should have a banter or an extra peice of dialogue but doesnt.

Two of mine:

1.In my first run in the playhouse beath five flagon inn when the crowd starts shouting "BOO BOO" I was almost sure that if minsc was there he would say something and have had an extra line or two of dialogue. I reload, take minsc, go there but he says nothing.

2. in the underdark where the drow are imprisoning house devir members I thought viconia would get extra dialogue. so when next time i'm playing evil party and take viconia its very dissapointing she says absolutely nothing. oh and generally I expected Vic to have much more dialogue and banter in underdark. she gets only little extra and the lack of anything in the house devir episode was most disappointing.

I never really thought about the Minsc 1, but yea i always thought there should have been some extra banter in the underdark, like a little talk between the duergar and Korgan.

Edwin suddenly turns around and betrays his employer, Mae'Var, and when it's time for the showdown with Mae'Var, Edwin has....nothing to say to his now-doomed boss.

Jan has nothing to talk about with the Svirfneblin (he just has a couple of lines related to killing them).

Haer'Dalis has no input on all the Demons, Tieflings, and other extraplanar creatures inhabiting Watcher's Keep, especially the third level.

I have the banter pack installed, so it might be that, but I remember Minsc commenting that he really liked the performance and didn't understand why people were booing.

Minsc does banter here. He comments he was enjoying a fine play and does not understand why it suddenly ended.

I've always thought it disapointing how none of the NPC's comment on a romance if the PC is having one (apart from other romance rivals). You would expect some of the NPC's to comment but they never do. Someone like Jan I believe in particular would have something to say, probably making fun of you and your partner.

No NPC even says's "so I see your with Aerie now", or imagine how disgusted Keldorn would be if your romancing Viconia.
