Cragmoon and friends (minor spoilers)

I've been digging through the minor things of bg2, and remember Mrs. Cragmoon, the potions dealer in the bridge district. It is possible to turn her into Aegisfield, but I rarely do it because I want to steal her potions later and she's hardly ever there.

Using google and shadowkeeper, I've come across links to Cragmoon through a note she wrote to Strachan Fireblade (tough name for 474 exp...). I cluaed him in, he's got nothing to say and is auto-hostile. Anyone know if this is just another Quataris and bust of Sune incident (unimplemented haer'dalis quest for those of you who don't know)?

I vaguely remember once turning in cragmoon and she attacked me, or got mad and left, or I'm just making this up.

If you turn her in she first flees then comes back at a later time and attacks you. Can't help with the rest though, sorry.

Dear Strachan, I am writing this as a warning, as one friend to another. I may be too old to take part in all this adventuring business you young ones go on, but I can still be of some use. There be a in Athkatla by the name of ... 's proven to be a danger to those that use magic, and has turned me in to the authorities here without provocation. I am to be taken by the Cowled Wizards, but I will try to make my escape this eve. Heed this warning, and don't believe a word the fool says if you meet . She does not exactly want to fight. the last just keep yourself safe means that if she does attack you, strachan is really not in this game (even though his .cre is)

You know all the times in RPGs where, if someone urges you NOT to go do something dangerous, you know that that's precisely what you're supposed to do? Well, this time it happened to somebody else. Cragmoon gets reported, sends a letter to her friend Fireblade, and Fireblade gets it into his head to attack you, and brings a few friends along. Mrs Cragmoon is not one of them, though.
