In my newest BG2/TOB game i have decided to try out some of the mods that everyone talks about on IW. I have chosen some and now wondering what order I need to install them in and how to activate them or whateva the mods i have chosen:
asension
ease of use
items upgrade
tactics
under represented
banter packs
flirt pack
imeon romance(yes i know, sick but i always thought she was kinda cute in a half-sisterly way.....)

if some one can be bothered detailing me on anything that needs to be done it would be apreciated(sp?)

Basically you install all non Weidu Mods first then all other mods after that.

No, that sounds like a WeiDU auto-update error.

Basically, lots of mods use a WeiDU installer and new versions of WeiDU come out every so often (I think the most recent is 164). So when you install a WeiDU mod, it checks the WeiDU versions of all the mods in your directory and updates them to the most recent.

It sounds like this update procedure isn't quite working properly for the banter packs.

I'd suggest trying to install another mod for now and see if that helps?

Alternatively, take one of your other setup-mod.exe files and rename to replace your setup-banterpack.exe, though this might be tricky if you're not too familiar with mods.

Incidentally, you might try the Gibberlings Three community (link in my sig) for some other mods - since you've got Flirt and Banter packs I assume you already found PPG!

Enjoy.

Hm, I had the same problem with my banter pack...is there no non-technical (as in, idiot's guide) kind of way to fix it?

I'll direct JC here when I see him and see if he knows what's up.

In the meantime try going to http://www.WeiDU.org and downloading the latest version of WeiDU (164 or something).

Unzip and you will find in the package a program called WeiDU.exe.

In your BGII folder there will be a similar program called setup-banterpack.exe or something; the thing you are clicking on to install.

Delete it, copy WeiDU.exe to your BGII folder, and rename that setup-banterpack.exe (or setup-banterpacks.exe or just banterpack.exe; whatever the original thing was called).

I didn't see Unfinished Buissness on your list. Your not considering it?

I've got banter packs and flirt pack too, but sorry I can't help, I had no difficulty installing.

Edit: Oh you got it fixed, must have missed that.
