Some remarks

I have just started a ToB game with a spear wielding fighter. ARG, that impaler +3 is a POWERFUL weapon!!!! Attacking with 3 ApR he slices through those Gromnir troops.

Another point is that starting ToB without the equipment from SoA is HARD. Because of one thing: high AC. At the end of SoA I would always have characters with -10 AC or lower, but the lowest now is -5, that is a major pain! AND, the immunity to +1 or lower would have been a major help too!

Well why don˙t you make this character in SoA and then import it after you finish it?

Because I have played through SoA too much without finishing ToB [img]tongue.gif[/img] And besides, the hardness is fun!

(Mild Spoilers)

I have been thinking of playing through SoA and collecting all the worthwhile items, and then saving a "template" game in ToB.

That way, I can load a multiplayer game and change the protaganist, and have my own collection of cool items to choose from. I can fetch whomever I want from the fate spirit and equip them as desired. It'll be like expensive paper dolls.

I think i'll solo a chaotic neutral F/M/T with a penchant for collection things. Could be fun. As a solo char, I wouldn't even need the cash from selling stuff.

Makes me want to go reinstall BG again!
