The Problem is back (Minor Spoilers)

MINOR SPOILERS

Ok. I mentioned this in a previous thread, but the problem has come back.

When I enter the docks in the docks district to do Bhodi's first quest as soon as I talk to Mook it crashes the game.

My party is as follows:
Me(Human Blade level 12)
Valen (level 9/10)

I have the following mods installed:
Ease of Use
Solaufein
Valen
Ashes of Embers - Most components

I also have the patch and the Fixpack.

If anyone can shed any light on my problem I would be greatful.

A workaround would be to go to the Government District, pay the 5000 gold for the spell casting liscense, go back to the docks, cast wizard eye on the harbor where Mook is, and cast a spell to kill her.

Edit: Not sure if this will work, but try getting a thief to hide in the shadows and backstab her before she talks. However, she might start her dialogue anyways even if you're in the shadows.

What kind of a solution is that?! Ignoring a problem like that will only lead to it resurfacing again. There's no telling what kind of problems you might cause doing that.

Now, this happens the MOMENT you talk to Mook? It doesn't happen, say, when Lassal goes to cast his spell?

I'd look to the mods you have installed there and make sure each are compatible. Also make sure you follow weidus intructions on the order of installation.

I'm doing the missions for Bhodi, which means I have to kill Mook. As far as I know Lassal doesn't take part. The game crashes when Mook has finished talking and Valen runs up to her to hit her.

If Lassal does appear then I've never got that far in the fight.

I did not call it a solution, I called it a workaround for now

The order of installation can be found in a sticky by icelus about all the BG2 mods

Current fix: use the CLUA command to clua in the smuggled goods. It's legit since you're dealing with a bug.
Possible Solution: Uninstall BG2, save the info that you need (check with someone else on this too, but you need your override, saved games, characters, and maybe some others), then re-install. The problem might be gone.
