I´m having some trouble getting my custom portraits to work properly in the game...
I can get them to show up in the list of custom portraits that i can open when maknig a new character, but the problem is, if i salect them, all i see is a face outline with a question mark...

Anyone have any ideas of where the problems might be?

The images must be in bitmap (.bmp) format, the file names must be no more than seven characters long (I think), the larger portrait must have an L at the end of the name and the smaller portrait an S (I think).

This might also have something to do with the graphic detail of the image. Open the portraits in Microsoft Paint or Photo Editor and save them as 8-bit .bmp files (or 16-bit .bmp files, sometimes this works too).

fpr proper filenames and stuff you might want to download the portrait manager from sorcerer's place

It's a nice little program that will show you if your portraits work and rename them into a proper filename.

These things should be OK.
