Possible Spoilers of WK in SoA...

Alright, I was running through Watcher's Keep before I went to rescue Imoen, so I thought this might suit the SoA forum.

It was cool, I ran through the first level fairly well, went through the statues and the Vampiric Mists. Second level was harder, but I managed to get through the Fire Giants and hoard of Golems, but now it brings me to my quest, who got the idea that the monsters in WK would be adjusted to your character level when you entered? The Tanarri and Balors were giving me a nice pounding before I decided to head out onto Windspear. I just find it hard to believe the monsters are adjusted when they able to get 30 points of damage in on you with each hit.

See, Gangrell? I told you that you can get the Quiver of Plenty before you get Gesen

I'm aware of that Pyrenk, but by the way some people talked about it, they sounded like it was a breeze at 9th level, ahem

The monsters in WK are adjusted to your level, up to a point anyway. Particularly, some of the enemies in the battle at the end of level 1 are missing at low level - and one of the missing ones does have nice loot.

Something in your throat?

It was a breeze at 9th level. The only thing that was annoying was the Vamp mist, and that was because of the level drain. 500 gold outside for Greater Restoration, and I was back to normal. You fight that many mephits in SPOILER

the mini Air Plane in Irenicus' dungeon. I don't see anything hard with it...I summoned an Aerial Servant, btw...Anomen had one.

ADD-Andrewas, are you talking about the statue with Foebane, or the guy with Usuno's Blade? Both were there, although I didn't fight the latter.

Actually, I've been through WK quite a bit through ToB and I didn't notice anything missing.

Pyrenk, are you talking about a breeze through level one?

Yes, and that's what I was talking about the whole time. Level 3+ are near impossible at that level, lol.

ADD-From my "Is Crossbow worth taking?" thread:

You do realize that you get Gesen before Tuigan and the Quiver of Plenty right?
Gangrell, I usually do the first level of W.K. once I get to level 9 or so. It isn't too hard, only a few mephits and shadows (Vampiric..bah), and then some Orogs, to get the Quiver. It's actually pretty easy. The Case of Plenty is even easier to get, no Orogs.
Ohh, I thought you were talking about all levels of the Keep It was insane trying to fight off the Tanarri, not even Foebane was helping during that fight either

Another day, another day
