Conscripting Edwin

I need to enrol Edwin into my evil party, but as I want to side with the lingerie model Bohdi

I do not want to do the thieves quests to get him. So how do I go about recruiting him into my party?

I might be wrong about this, as I've only sided with Bodhi once, but I think that Renal's quest and siding with the Shadow Thieves are two different things. (Ever plan to side with the Shadow Thieves and try to pump Renal for information about Imoen/Irenicus after his quest is done?

) I think you can do Renal's quest, get Edwin, and still join Bodhi, and I know that you can talk with Bayle and even get offered the discount and still join Bodhi. Paying the price means you've joined a side--everything else is talk.

You can always do the quest up until Edwin offers to join, then just forget about Renal altogether. (Even better, you could tell Renal where to stick his quest conclusion. The game doesn't give you many chances to mouth off, but when it does...oh boy.
