No such mod exists to my knowledge, but Saemon as a recruitable NPC? What a curse that would be! I could just see him wooing away your girlfriend, fleeing at the first sight of a Kobold, and spending your money without asking. No doubt he's wanted in every civilized township, hamlet, and major city from the arse end of Faerun to its not-so-arse-like end. Like Viconia, I imagine him bringing a reputation penalty to the party; I think 15 is generous. Nobody's as two faced as this guy.

Making up an excuse for him to join you would be a bit of a stretch, unless you forced him into it. Even so, he's so slippery I don't see how you could ever catch him. (Maybe a "(Limited) Wish"? Heh heh.) He'd make an interesting NPC to say the least, especially if his save-his-own-hide mentality is played up to its fullest.

I've heard of many highly enchanted artifact-class items drifting around Amn, but a request for a "powerful bra" is a new one for me.

Limited Wish and Saemon. Hmm. I can imagine a character with low (>10) wisdom asking the djinn for assistance in battle.

As for the powerful bra, try Branwen's Breastplate of Bustiness! Unenchanted plate mail, +2 CHA, and casts Free Action and Protection from Petrification each once per day to protect against those powerful gaze attacks. Plus, the leather thong ties in front look stylish. (If you've played BG1 and know what I'm talking about, that is.)

Have it involve something about Saemon accidentally donning a cursed Necklace of Compulsive Honesty. Now, that would be fun.

Actually, what I want is a Saemon-HUNTING mod. Here's my idea:
*SPOILERS* (plot, item, and NPC related)

.
Make Kruin, the Githyanki Wild Mage that assults you at the beginning of Chapter 6 to retrieve the Silver Sword (while carrying its hilt) a recruitable NPC. Modify the plot slightly so that he can join earlier... say in Chapter 4 by being on the Githyanki ship that attacks Saemon's ship and being captured/rescued with you by the Saughain. There's also a couple of Githyanki encounters he could be thrown into in Chapter 5. Also modify the plot somehow so that Saemon keeps the blade. I think there's a dialogue option for this currently, but I don't recall and we'd need some kind of plot device to make it consistent with his character to keep the blade. Once you get Kruin in a position where he is separated from the other Githyanki and not inclined to be hostile to your party, he can then solicit your party's help in his quest to recover the Silver Blade... which just so happens to be possessed by our favorite rapscallion, Saemon. After you help him with "his" quest, I think Kruin just might be able to be convinced to stay on your quest, since you just happen to be hunting the mage that was the one who originally stole the Silver Blade from the Githyanki in the first place.

Kruin would be a hilarious NPC to have in the party, and for it to work best I think the focus should be on the comic relief, not powergaming. Maybe even give him a glued-on item that increases his wild surge potential, just for kicks. The dialogue potential with Jan (So you mess up spells occasionally? That's nothing compared to what happened to Uncle Scratchy one time...), HaerDalis (swap plane-traveling stories), female Edwin (Now that's a wild surge), and even Valygar (Mages are bad enough, how about mages who can't always control the results of their spellcasting?) would just be priceless.

And if all that falls flat, well you still get to kill Saemon

...And some banter with Minsc about giant space hamsters.

Having Kruin in your party would, however, mean that you have to give up the Silver Sword. After all he would never tolerate seeing this weapon in the hands of a lowly prime.

I can understand a shiftless rogue like Saemon along for the ride (as long as he benefited from the partnership), but why would someone like Ellisime join the party? I mean, think of all the actions she takes in the game.
