Korgan leaves me

Lo´ there.

I´m currently in chapter 4 in the underwater city. I have just killed the Prince to complete the kings quest. And suddenly Korgan want´s to leave my party. Is there anyway I can avoid that??

My party at the moment : Myself(fighter lvl 14), Minsc, Korgan, Jaheria, Imoen and Jan Jansen. Conflicts??

Eeeeeeh.... somethimes a party member leave couz he ask you to do something 4 him/her (like nalia wants you 2 save the stonghold, and when you go and do something else... she leave couz it takes 2 long)

that is probaly the reason why he left

I have recovered the Book of Kaza and he´d love to continue with me at that point...?

What's your reputation? Evil characters tends to leave your party if your rep. is 19 or 20.

problem solved then. if you have a save before that, just turn slayer a few times until you hit rep 14 or 15. he should stay then.

BTW, does the mod happy party fix this anyhow? If it does, get it hereI think its part of the ease of use mod though.

Whenever a character leaves, its probably cuz of reputatation. Welcome to the forum Decap4

Actually, most of the time repution doesn make them leave, its because they might fight with other party members (such as korgan and aerie for example), or its because you havent done their quest they asked you to do and in the amount of time given.

He said he'd already done the book of Kaza quest so it MUST be reputation because Korgan never leaves the party when he fights with Aerie, it's her that leaves. I have heard though that with TOB installed characters don't leave the party because of reputation even though they complain alot but I've never tested this out. Perhaps they didn't want characters leaving when your in Watchers keep or in a dungeon about to fight one of the Bhaalspawns etc. Can anyone confirm wether characters leave your party because of high reputation with TOB installed?

I do have ToB installed, and Viconia did left. Then I reloaded and slew the evil bitch. Then I took Annoyman.
Ain't I weird.

Ah, and the trick *kick Viconia out and take her in again immediately* when you have rep 19 will not lower your rep to 18, as it should. She'll curse you rivvin (although there was no single human in the party) and leave for good.
