Sorceror vs Faldorn? (SPOILERS)

I am currently soloing a sorceror.
I was doing the Druid Grove quest to save Trademeet, and I went to watch Cernd kill Faldorn. Somehow, I ended up in the pit fighting Faldorn. Is this meant to happen? It has never ever happened before, and I thought only Druids could fight her. I also got the staff of thunder and lightning (if that's what it's called?) and I didn't think it was possible.
Is this meant to happen?

I've never heard of it ever happening. Try downloading the patch from baldurdash. I can't provide the link, sorry.

I have the fix-pack.
Adding to the weirdness, now I can apparently become the Grand Druid!

Lol! The first sorcerer Grand Druid. I'd just play it out, and see if you can become the 'owner' of the Planar Sphere as well

I quit because I was getting bored of the slow loading times, and my cousins were here.

I do have a life beyond BG, you know.
Though not a very meaningful one.

Hmmm.....apparently, there's a bug that makes the game think your PC is EVERY class. This happened a couple of weeks ago, with a guy playing a Half-Orc Barbarian who found it odd that he was able to win the Ranger stronghold (in addition to the de'Arnise Keep, which he already had). And then, for a lark, he went and got the Planar Sphere, the Five Flagons, the Temple of Helm, etc.

Same thing happened to me when playing a barbarian, it dropped all my equipment on the floor then stuck me in the pit with her, I simply picked up my equipment with another party member moved them close to the pit passed it all back to my barbarian and then unpaused, poor Faldorn didn't stand a chance [img]smile.gif[/img]
