Asylum(Definite Spoiler)

Straight to the point:
1.Every time im in the asylum, running Bodhis little game, i find random objects, like a jug of water and a statue of a gagged man. is there a point to this?
2.Same question only about Mithril Tokens.Can these be taken to Cromwell or what?

1)the random objects are used in puzzles found in this part of the level. At least one of which must be completed to escape the asylum.
2)the tokens are used with a machine which you may or may not discover in the level, which allows you to make several different pairs of boots, an OK suit of armor (that is if you're just beginning the game), and some other items. I think so anyways; however, be aware you can really only find enough tokens to make ONE of the items period (.).

Brainless One,

there is a room with a chest that contains objects like the gagged man and a number of statues around the walls. Read each statues riddle and place the appropriate object that matches that riddle in the arms of that statue. When all objects have been correctly placed you get 20,000 XP and two items appear in the chest.

There are a total of 21 mithril tokens. There is a machine hidden on the level that will dispense items depending on how many tokens you 'use' :

20 tokens - jesters chain
15 tokens - boots of speed
10 tokens - boots of grounding
5 tokens - boots of the north

You can get multiple itmes, depending on how many tokens you have - for example boots of speed and boots of grounding would need 20 tokens.
