I can't win this fight. They are too fast...
Can someone tell me the tactics for this fight (who to take out first...) or Would be there any affect to the story if i don't complete all of the challenges? |

You are going to have to refresh my memory. Is this the fight where you fight against the opposite alignment of yourself?
~~ADD] You cannot finish the game until you have completed all the challenges, not to mention that there are fights tougher than what you will encounter in the Pocket Plane. ![]() [ 07-08-2002, 09:16 AM: Message edited by: Dundee Slaytern ] |

Yep, that's the fight. The dark version of me plus two fighters with something like improved improved improved haste plus one real good mage who casts time stop and then finger of death, which kills one party member. I'm trying to keep all party members alive
I think i tried almost everything, but there must be some easy solution like in every fight... There are Minsc, Valygar, Imoen, Jaheira, Aerie and my fighter in the party... I would be gladful for any non-cheating help |

Protect yourself as well as possible and run around like a chicken without it's head (your opposite attack only you IIRC)
Consentrate the rest of the party on the mage - I can't remember what defenses he rises but get them down pronto! Then take out the fighters - and your opposite last P.S. mirror shield (still) works against the archer. Hope this helps.

Use Jaheria to cast Insect Plague on an opponent near the Mage, if she cannot cast directly on him yet. Your True Sights should make the Mage a visible target though. Before entering into the arena, summon 5 long lasting summons like Mountain Bears, Skeleton Warriors, Fire Elementals, Aerial Servants, etc... and cast Haste on them. The Mage may cast Death Spell, so try to sic only one summon( preferably a lousy one) near the Mage's spawning location while the other summons are on the other side. When the Mage kills the summon nearest to him, summon a Skeleton Warrior next to him to frustrate him( 95% magic resistance). Death Spell affects Skeleton Warriors, which is why you need to use a sacrificable summon first. Good luck, have fun! |

If you have a good thief or some one who can hide and has a cloak of nondetection you can pull everyone else back via dimension door or something like that or mass invisibility and move them out of site of the enemy party. Then leave your invisible nondetectable character out in front so the long range people of your party or summond creatures can go woop some rear. I did that till I had no fireball or summons left then it was pretty easy to mop up with my fighters. Also lots of low level summons force the enemy mage to use his spells, he runs out quick.
