1. It raises the dead!!! If one of your characters dies, cast raise dead on them to bring them back to life!
2. If you have abilities drained, they will come back after a time. If you have a level drained you need to have a restoration spell cast on you whether by one of your own characters or at a temple. 3. Never had a familiar, so I don't know much about it. |

In order to acquire a familiar your mage needs to cast the first level spell 'Find Familiar.' Scrolls of this spell are reasonably common in the game.

That button is for the turn undead ability which is a special ability of clerical characters suchas Viconia and Aerie. For a good character, such as Aerie, the successful use of this ability drives undead away from the caster and at high levels destroys them [depending upon the power of the undead]. An evil character, such as Viconia, has a chance to control undead by successfully using this ability.

a paladin also has this ability and at turn undead level 30,turn undead has the ability to kill all vamps and even liches with no problems.thats why i run an undead hunter kit, less dragons compared to the undead.besides a good theif or mage will take out a dragon without a fight. happy huntings
p.s. if you have undead turned on when a lich cast time stop it still takes effect and the lich will die in the middle of time stop, at least for me it does |

True TP... but your Cleric/Paladin has to be powerful enough to be able to kill the lich with its undead spell

Just one thing...if a character dies and their portrait on the right is gone as well...they can't be raised from the dead cos they died so horribly that their body became a stringy red stain on the dirt...
![]() Ooops, i just realized you didn't mean RAISE dead.... [ 05-12-2002, 01:05 PM: Message edited by: Bristowe ]
