A few of my revelations and experiences with BG II and its addictive qualities
Take it as a warning 1. When I first started BG II I picked a nice picture for my character. About half way through the game I realised what I had done. I looked like Minsc' twin brother. *blush* (Sure, he's a good fighther, but..iq?) 2. All the times I've been forced to eat burned pizza. BlackIsIe should have built in a timer to help you get your nose away from the screen 3. The one time: "No computergames today , kids! Go clean your rooms while I make dinner." Can you IMAGINE the loss of power and respect when they found their dinner like coles in the oven and me behind the computer? Well, at least (and at last) I kicked "the greater WolfWere in windspear hill's dungeon"s butt. I'm still not sure if it was worth it... 4. The way the game makes you think that nothing else is urgent. They almost disconnected my phoneline. "Where the heck did I put the phonebill?". I found it, between all the printouts from this forum. Yep. 5. The way it 'imprison' your attention. My cat took a shit in my couch the other day, because I didnt hear her screaming for me to open the door. 6. Edwin wasn't telling the truth!(that liar!). When he pissed of Minsc I could have sweared I saw him use an offencing spell that I NEVER gave him opportunity to learn!! Wonder what else he had hidden up his sleeves. Now I'll never know.. 7. The way it charms me and makes me late for work. 8. The liches! Darn those creatures are hard to kill. 9. The look on my boss' face when I, after an unsuccessful attempt on spell: dimension door from the entrance to the coffe machine, told him that I was late to work (again) because of a l i c h?! (I wonder how he captured me, though ..could it be Truesight?) This game is dangerous. I'm totally addicted! ![]() |

You guys should check the "You've played too much BG and IWD when..." thread at the Gen Con forum. Totally funny.
