I am confused with my character.
I downloaded Shadowkeeper, and change myself so many times...
A BARD is good, because he can cast spells and fight, but doesn't have thieving abilities.. (As not being able to just click your own character to do everything is annoying)and a thief has no spells, but I also like PALADINS because of their RIGHTEOUS NATURE.

What do you all think the best character for versatility is? I prefer the BARD

Well I like Elven Fighter/Mages as they ROCK!! but the most versatile are of course Multi- Fighter/Mage/Theives as they have all the major needs ... (and elves kick arse!)

I really like Cavaliers. Because they have a righteus nature, as you said so good yourself ( ), they have incredibly good abilities, they have access to some clerical spells, they gets an average good stronghold, and they can use the Carsomyr!!!

why not play all three? play the one you like the most first, then play the others for a different experience. as far as i have seen, all the strongholds are good, but the fighter one takes FOREVER!!!

oh well. do what you like best, and come back for more.

With the Fighter Stronghold, I just wait to go back to my stronghold only when the Text "Gold has been placed in your keep." appears. I always get a new quest when I go to get some gold.

Each class has advantages and disadvantages.
The more versatile is as Glorfindel said the fighter/mage/thief.
My personal favorites are Mage and Fighter/Thief.

Bards do have the Knock spell, just nothing to detect traps or disarm them unfortunately. Whatever happened to the disarm trap spells?
