in De Arneises keep there is a a hammer+1 giantkind+4 but what is giant kind is it just giants or can i take out a golem too

Sorry, no giants in SOA. There will be quite a few fire giants in Tob though(This isnt a spoiler right?)

'Giantkin' usually refers to all kinds of Giants (Frost, Hill, Fire, Titan, etc.) and Ogres, Ettins, and the like. Everything that's human-shaped and big. I believe Half-Ogres also fall under this.
Golems shouldn't fit this description, as they are magical constructs rather then large organic demi-humans, but the bonuses of the hammer you find in BGII also work against them. |

Yep. The Knee-Capper is +4 vs anything vaguely human-shaped and big. Including Golems, excluding (Greater) Elementals.
